Strange Disc Sports

The World is connected by fairways. Some defined. Some vague. Regardless they are details often overlooked. The perspective of a view is an effortless appreciation for what has been before. Driving over the Golden Gate bridge for the first time was a breeze and for a simple toll of $6.00 I crossed over water to the shores of the San Francisco disc golf scene.

Whether you are flying or driving, walking always seems to feels like a better way of commuting. After all, it's hard to play disc golf at accelerated speeds. So I guess traveling really brings out the urge to play in the parks, besides, you never know what you're going to encounter.

It's funny how opportunity is more tempting outside of comfort zones. After a round a fellow disc golfer and myself enjoyed a unique afternoon on Oceanside beach. He later bought dank beer and sushi around the corner from his apartment. An evening atop the San Francisco skyline was started by a, "Do you want to play through or join?" Feeling fortunate and blessed once again on this certainly Strange Trip.

I still believe in San Francisco. A place of culture and a "anything goes" type of vibe. Very unique experience on and off the course. If you visit you just might stumble across a tour guide and 5-star hotel bundled up into a specially priced package for All About Free!
Thanx Bill and Lok Dog,

The morning was capped with a strong cup of coffee and a spiritual sunrise. . . and one more quick round at the Park before luck followed me to San Jose.
