I was planning on hitting up friday night doubles and being on my way but strange member Stevo had a different itinarary planned for me.
I ended up staying for the weekend and playing in a silicon valley disc golf club monthly mini tournament. It was held at both La Raza and Hellyer parks. A highway split between the two courses making it convenient to play both for the one-day event. Having the opportunity to play with some of the best players from the area forced Stevo and I to bring our A game, so we got out there and started bombing plastic.

It was really nice to be able to get out of the woods momentarily for some good reach back, stretch and release. My favorite rip of a disc this particular weekend was that 170 star destroyer. Plenty of hyzer and just snapping the piss out of it!

Humor me and examine the idea of strangers like neighbors. Not the weird ones or the perfect ones, but the ones you can kick it with. The ones that like to party but aren't loud all night. The ones you consider friends even if their familiarity is predisposed. So they're not so much strangers at all but random family members that happen to be encountering the same area as you for a given amount of time. It's an odd idea that makes perfect sense on a strange level making it possible that someone traveling from Idaho can make a call to South Carolina for a disc golf hook up in California, all within a matter of minutes. The web of technology has certainly woven the gap between oceans and beyond. Thanx Zahm for all the mobile tech. support and thanx Stevo for the stay at "La casa de Jose".

You got a great game Stevo! Plenty of power and precision putting. Big ups on representing the Silicon Valley where a short drive over the Santa Cruz mountains leads me to a little corner of the world named DeLa.
